Contract formation

Acceptance and eligibility

By placing an order, making a payment, using the SetMini website, entering the Console, or accessing a delivered cloud Mac, you agree to be bound by these terms and the details shown on the order confirmation page. If you act for a company, team, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms and assume the related obligations on its behalf.

The purchaser must have the legal capacity required by the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is established and must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable account and order information. You may not create an order using another person’s identity, payment details, organization name, or authorization.

If a team member places an order on your behalf, the account holder remains responsible for managing member permissions, confirming the order scope, and ensuring that everyone authorized to use the nodes follows these terms. Internal authorization arrangements do not change the order holder’s responsibility for fees, data, or usage.

If general information on another page differs from the order confirmation page, the model, term, data center, add-ons, and amount due shown on the order confirmation page before payment control.

Product boundaries

Service definition

“Cloud Mac” means an Apple Silicon Mac work environment accessed remotely over a network. “Physical node” means the physical device hosting that work environment. “Dedicated physical server” means that the computing, memory, and local storage resources assigned to the order are not shared with other tenants; the environment is not virtualized.

The service includes the physical node stated in the order, delivery information required for remote access, the selected rental term, applicable add-ons, and support related to node connectivity, billing, and troubleshooting. Within the authorized scope, users may use the macOS graphical interface, command line, Xcode, automated build tools, and software they are properly licensed to use.

Remote access quality depends on the user’s location, network path, client configuration, resolution, and transfer load. SetMini provides node-side access conditions and troubleshooting support, but the user’s local network, third-party routes, and user-installed software are outside the physical node service.

Ordering and acceptance

Orders and delivery

When placing an order, users must select SetMini M4 or SetMini M4 Pro, an available data center, a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly term, and any required SSD expansion or Thunderbolt 5 parallel connections. All model and data center combinations listed in the catalog can be ordered; live availability is determined by the Console.

After payment is completed and the order is confirmed by the system, delivery information will be provided in the Console. Delivery typically includes the order number, node identification details, remote access method, and credential guidance required for the first connection. Obtain this information through the controlled pages in your account and do not forward credentials to unrelated people.

After receiving the delivery information, promptly verify the model, memory, storage, data center, term, add-ons, and connection capabilities. If the configuration differs from the order confirmation, the first connection cannot be established, or delivery information is incomplete, stop writing important data and report the issue through a Console ticket or support email.

Acceptance does not require a complete project build, but you must at least confirm that you can access the node, identify the selected hardware specifications, inspect the system environment, and complete basic reads and writes. Continuing to deploy code, keys, certificates, or media assets constitutes actual use of the service, but does not affect your right to report verifiable delivery configuration errors.

04

USD settlement

Fees and payment

All orders are priced and settled in US dollars (USD). SetMini supports only USDT-TRC20 and Visa, Mastercard, and Amex through Stripe; the gateway actually available is determined by the backend response when the order is submitted.

The base model fee, rental term, data center, SSD expansion, number of Thunderbolt 5 parallel connections, and total amount due will appear on the order confirmation page before payment. You are responsible for checking the currency, amount, payment network, recipient information, and order details before submitting payment.

The catalog prices for SetMini M4 are $19.3/day, $52.2/week, $96.7/month, and $263/quarter; SetMini M4 Pro is priced at $59.1/day, $159.5/week, $295.3/month, and $803.2/quarter. The order page shown at confirmation is the final record of the order amount.

Base rental prices for the two available models
Model Daily Weekly Monthly Quarterly
SetMini M4 $19.3 $52.2 $96.7 $263
SetMini M4 Pro $59.1 $159.5 $295.3 $803.2

Delays caused by selecting the wrong payment network, entering incorrect external payment information, payment instrument restrictions, or a third-party payment provider declining the transaction are not node-side service failures. Do not submit payment for the same order more than once. If the payment status does not match the actual charge, retain the transaction identifier and submit a ticket for review.

05

Terms and extensions

Renewals and add-ons

Rental terms are daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly. The term dates, renewal amount, and payment status are determined by the order record. Check renewal requirements and complete any necessary actions before the current term ends; orders without a valid renewal may stop providing access after the term ends.

Add-ons must be linked to a valid base model order and cannot be used separately from a node. +1TB SSD, +2TB SSD, and Thunderbolt 5 parallel connections are billed according to the selected rental term; Thunderbolt 5 parallel connections are charged per unit.

Add-on catalog prices by rental term
Add-on Daily Weekly Monthly Quarterly
+1TB SSD $2.4 $6.4 $11.8 $32.1
+2TB SSD $4.8 $12.8 $23.6 $64.2
Thunderbolt 5 parallel connection (each) $1.5 $4.1 $7.6 $20.7

An add-on takes effect after the order is confirmed and the corresponding configuration is completed. Configuration may require the node to leave the user session temporarily. Save your work, stop write operations, and verify your backups first. Confirm the capacity, quantity, and billing term after activation in the Console order record.

The timing for changing the term, reducing expanded capacity, or adjusting the number of parallel connections is determined by the order controls available in the Console and the backend response. A billing term that has started will not be automatically recalculated based on unused time, storage capacity, or parallel connection capacity.

06

Usage limits

Acceptable use

You may use the service only for lawful and authorized development, testing, building, automation, inference, transcoding, rendering, and data processing. You may not use a node for unlawful activity, infringement of third-party rights, or evasion of applicable technical or access restrictions.

  • Unauthorized access prohibited: Do not scan, probe, log in to, or control accounts, systems, networks, devices, or data that you are not authorized to access.
  • Malicious code distribution prohibited: Do not create, host, execute, or distribute code intended to cause damage, enable extortion, steal credentials, provide covert control, or disrupt services.
  • Resource abuse prohibited: Do not affect node networks, support systems, or other users’ services through abnormal traffic, sustained attacks, restriction evasion, or other means.
  • Infringing content prohibited: Do not store, process, or distribute material that infringes copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy rights, or other lawful rights.
  • Physical environment interference prohibited: Do not attempt to bypass node isolation, modify unauthorized underlying configurations, or interfere with the normal operation of other physical nodes.
  • Undisclosed access resale prohibited: Do not resell, share, or publicly expose node access to third parties without establishing clear permissions, responsibilities, and security controls.

You must ensure that the software, dependencies, assets, models, certificates, and automation scripts you install are properly licensed. If your project requires sustained high-volume transfers, prolonged high loads, or coordination with specialized peripherals, describe the workflow before ordering so that the service boundaries and configuration can be confirmed.

07

Measurement criteria

Service levels

SetMini targets 99.9% availability for physical node services. Nodes operate 365 days a year with continuous service. Availability is calculated as the proportion of time during the applicable order billing period that the node-side service can accept normal remote access.

99.9% Billing-period availability target
Measurement subject
Remote access capability of the physical node assigned to the order
Measurement period
The applicable billing period when the event occurred
Required evidence
Order number, node, event time, error records, and troubleshooting steps completed

Availability calculations exclude inaccessible time directly caused by the user’s local network, client failure, incorrect credentials, user-modified system or network settings, conflicts with user software, operations beyond the authorized scope, third-party service failures, voluntary shutdown by the user, or force majeure.

If you cannot access a node, submit a Console ticket as soon as possible with the order number, node, start and recovery times, client environment, error output, and troubleshooting steps completed. Submit the request within the application period stated on the order confirmation page after the applicable billing period ends so that the logs and event scope can be reviewed.

If the review confirms that node-side availability was below 99.9% and the compensation conditions are met, SetMini will process service compensation in accordance with these terms, the order record, and the scope of the event’s impact. Compensation is not automatically converted to cash and does not cover indirect losses, expected profits, or third-party costs.

08

Responsibility boundaries

User data and security

You are responsible for account credentials, node credentials, code repositories, signing certificates, keys, environment variables, build caches, media assets, model files, database copies, and other data written to the node. Use strong credentials, least-privilege access, and controlled team authorization, and promptly remove access that is no longer needed.

You must establish backup and recovery procedures appropriate to your risks. A dedicated physical server is not a backup service; project copies, build artifacts, or key files stored on a single node must not be treated as the only backup. Keep verified external copies of important data and test recovery regularly.

You are responsible for confirming the license terms of installed operating system components, development tools, dependencies, fonts, plugins, media codecs, and other software. Do not ask SetMini to provide or retain software, assets, certificates, or keys that you are not authorized to use.

Before leaving the node or ending the rental, stop automated tasks, revoke access tokens that are no longer needed, export required artifacts, verify backups, end active sessions, and remove sensitive files. Data extraction requests made after service termination may not be possible because of node reset or data disposal procedures.

Do not submit full passwords, private keys, recovery codes, or directly usable production credentials in support requests. Remove sensitive fields unrelated to the issue before sharing troubleshooting logs.

09

Suspension and liability

Suspension, termination, and liability limits

SetMini may restrict access to a related account or node in cases of overdue fees, invalid payment status, violations of acceptable use rules, unauthorized access risks, malicious activity, security incidents, material impact on other nodes, or when action is legally required. To reduce ongoing risk, emergency security measures may be applied first, with the reason explained afterward through account records or support channels.

You may choose not to renew and must move your data out before the current valid term ends. Before termination, you remain responsible for confirmed fees and for account activity, node usage, and third-party authorizations occurring before termination.

After the service ends, the node may enter an access shutdown, data cleanup, and reconfiguration process. Export your data during the valid rental term. Unless mandatory law or a written agreement between the parties provides otherwise, SetMini is not required to retain user data for an ended order.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SetMini’s total liability for the service is limited to the service fees actually paid by the user for the relevant order and billing period giving rise to the claim. SetMini is not liable for lost profits, business interruption, indirect or consequential losses, third-party claims, or losses resulting from failure to back up data.

Impacts caused by force majeure, public network outages, third-party infrastructure failures, lawful requirements from governmental or judicial authorities, the user’s own actions, user software, or the user’s breach of these terms do not constitute a breach by SetMini for matters beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these liability limits excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

10

Version and contact

Changes to these terms and contact

This version takes effect in September 2026. SetMini may update these terms in response to changes in product scope, billing processes, security requirements, service capabilities, or legal obligations. Material changes affecting user rights or obligations will be reasonably announced through the website, Console notifications, or the email registered to the account.

Updated terms apply to orders created or renewed after they take effect. For orders in an active term, unless applicable law requires immediate effect, a security risk requires immediate action, or the parties agree otherwise, material billing rules are governed by the order confirmation record for that term.

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is established. The parties should first use support channels to review the disputed facts, order records, and technical logs. If the dispute cannot be resolved through discussion, it will be handled by a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.

For questions about these terms, orders, payments, security reports, compliance materials, or service disputes, email support@setmini.com. Users with existing orders should log in to the Console first to submit a ticket and include the order number, node, event time, and relevant records.
